"We wanted to bring hope to those who are suffering."

Meet David and Gina Booth! As long time residents of Rexburg, Idaho they wanted to create a neuro stimulation clinic for the people they love in their community.

Education and Training

Although David and Gina have expertise in different fields, their experience complements one another. David has worked in the field of chiropractic and natural healing for over 25 years.  In addition to his doctorate degree, he also holds an advanced certificate in functional medicine.

Finally, he has received extensive training in qEEG and brain stimulation. He is passionate about  helping his patients get to the bottom of their health issues through diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes.

Gina homeschooled their four children and later became the director Shumway Private School in the Rexburg area.  At the age of 50, she received her master's degree in Business Management & Leadership.

Upbringing

David was born in San Diego, California where his parents were stationed at the navy base but eventually was raised in the Salt Lake City, Utah. Gina grew up in Rexburg, Idaho and after attending Ricks College, moved to SLC to attend the University of Utah.  This is where small town meets big city and Dave and Gina fell in love.  Rexburg was where they decided to raise their children.

Hobbies and Interests

David enjoys the outdoors, playing his saxophone, rock climbing, and trying new things. Gina loves to sew, garden, spend time with her grandchildren, and just laugh with family and friends!

Why They Care

Within their own respective fields, David and Gina saw an increasing need for adults, teens, and children who suffer from ADD, autism, depression, and anxiety to get the help they deserve naturally and without medication. Through their own experience with family and friends,  they knew there had to be something better to help with neurological dysfunction. Hence, the birth of the Optimal Brain.  They have created a place where many different treatments are offered to help families and individuals get the answers they are looking for to live a more fulfilling life.

As the director of Shumway, Gina sees many neurologically diverse children and witnesses their daily difficulties. Not just for them but also their families. She aches for these families who are struggling to find answers.  She loves to serve others and help them find ways to solve their problems.  David also is passionate about helping people of all ages solve their health concerns.
